Welcome to the Yorkshire Cancer Help Centre website.
We are having an Open Day at Henshaw's on Saturday 8th August.
The opening times will be 11:30am til 4pm.
Our approach is to complement and enhance the effectiveness of orthodox medical care. Many people who have adopted this type of approach have discovered that the side effects sometimes associated with radiotherapy and chemotherapy have been greatly reduced.
We are located at the Henshaws Arts and Crafts Centre in Knaresborough, and meet every 2 weeks. Please check the schedule page for details of our next meeting. Do bring someone along to share the day with you. Support and help for carers, family and friends is an important aspect of the programme.
Our Aims:
To offer a programme of healing for the whole person, working at the levels of mind body and spirit.
To enable people with cancer to channel all available energies into the process of self healing.
To support and care for the needs of their families and friends whose lives are also affected.
To help those with cancer acheive a better quality of life.
