It’s a momentous occasion as Josephine has her last ever week in hospital and leaves the dreaded drip behind for good! The princess theme continues as a fabulous trip to Disneyland Paris, as organised by Dreams Come True, sees the family having a wonderful time away from hospital at last. There’s no sign of Mickey Mouse, but a whirlwind of excitement gets those teacups spinning! As the group set off on a magical river ride, Josie reminisces about the last time she was on the exact same ride with her grandparents and what its like to be back there again. After all the rollercoaster riding you could ever wish for, both in hospital and at the theme park, life returns to normal for Josephine as she looks forward to returning to college and finally getting some normality back in her life. As her video journey comes to an end and everything is finally looking up, an extremely happy Josie says goodbye to Jimmyteens and our favourite princess rides away into the sunset!

It’s party time as Josephine prepares for her Cinderella ball, complete with carriage and tiara, in aid of her upcoming birthday. First stop, hair and makeup where the girls are transformed into princesses and then top it off with a rather royal banquet at the wonderfully regal Burger King! The frocks are fitted, the balloons are up, the horses are waiting, there’s only one thing that’s missing…a pig! Will an emergency radio call send one ‘oinking’ Josie’s way? Covered in jewels and every inch the Disney princess, Josephine will go to the ball, even without a fairy godmother to wave her magic wand! With a vast array of presents fit for a queen, Josie tears open her first one and gets what she has always wanted- a blue horse, which saves dying any pets thankfully! As the party celebrations come to an end and the candles have been blown out, a newly crowned ‘Rose of Tralee’ makes her way to her royal chambers to catch up on some well earned beauty sleep. And they all lived happily ever after!

In this third instalment, we hear how a variety of symptoms, including sickness, exhaustion, achey legs and a sore throat are all affecting Josephine, meaning more time in hospital due to risk of infection. The woggles are out as a physio session in the pool helps to exercise Josephine’s legs and improve her walking, however, time in the gym is cut short when unfortunately she contracts a throat infection, meaning more rest and most importantly…no talking!

Joesephine gives us an update on her progress including plans for a major operation. Her step dad raises £2000 for the TCT and YPU unit by riding a 50cc moped 200 miles with sponsors guessing how long it will take.

17 year old Josephine is on her 4th week of chemo after diagnosis of Osteosarcoma.
