The link details for the private forum are www.mwbleukaemia.forumup.co.uk but it can be accessed by clicking on the links in the main site.
The charity has set up a private forum for use by teenagers and young adults, this forum requires registration to ensure privacy and moderators will ask questions before allowing any access to it. The forum is designed to help youngsters discuss thoughts and feelings about their diagnosis, and also for them to offer help, advice and support to each other. There is a section for them to ask questions-maybe questions they don’t want to ask outright. We need young people to test the forum and make suggestions as to what they want the forum to consist of. This is there own private space. At the moment it is very basic, which is deliberate, as we feel that this is their space and want their input into it. We have a team of volunteer moderators ready and willing to moderate the forum and enable it to move forward.
